YWCA Crossroads Safe Haven Campaign

The YWCA has a bold vision for a new YW Crossroads Shelter: one that will replace the two existing shelters. For women escaping violence, Crossroads is the first and most effective defense against the harm and potential lethality of domestic abuse. For the women who arrive at these doors, this is the most critical turning point of their lives. 100% of donor dollars raised will go toward capital construction and enhanced programming.

The YWCA Freedom Walk

Our Freedom Walk is a fun way to raise money for our Crossroads Shelter and Food Action programs. Our 2008 Walk was a great success. Our 2009 Freedom Walk takes place on Saturday May 2, 2009.

Donate the proceeds of a special event

Friends in the community raise money for the YWCA in many ways. Fashion shows, coffee houses, turkey roasts, musicals, plays, yard sales...please let us know about your event and we can help to promote it!

Volunteer!

Fundraising volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization. Please consider giving your time to volunteer for a fundraising event: Tag Day or YWCA Freedom Walk. If you are interested in volunteering, you can call us or use our online signup form.
