How You Can Help

Join us in helping women and their families oppose and rise above violence, poverty and oppression. Here's how:

Donate Now

Annual Gift

Support the YWCA Crossroads Shelter and Food Action with an annual gift - large or small. Each dollar makes a difference. Please contact us by phone at: 1-705-743-3526 or by email: info@ywcapeterborough.org.

Monthly Giving

Making regular contributions each month is a convenient way to give. We can withdraw your donation from your bank account or charge it to your credit card.

YWCA Freedom Walk

Our Freedom Walk is a fun way to raise money for our Crossroads Shelter and Food Action programs. Please visit www.ywcafreedomwalk.com for more information and join us at Nicholl's Oval Park on May 7th.

Walk A Mile In Her Shoes

Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is an annual event that encourages men to literally step into women's shoes and show their support by walking from City Hall down George Street to the Holiday Inn. All money raised directly supports the YWCA Crossroads Shelter.

Hundreds of men have participated over the past two years - we encourage you to reserve your red high heels early!

Please visit www.walkamilepeterborough.com for more information.

Donate the proceeds of a special event

Friends in the community raise money for the YWCA in many ways. Fashion shows, coffee houses, turkey roasts, musicals, plays, yard sales...please let us know about your event and we can help to promote it!

Volunteer!

Fundraising volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization. Please consider giving your time to volunteer for a fundraising event: Tag Day or YWCA Freedom Walk. If you are interested in volunteering, you can call us or use our online signup form.

YWCA Y's Buys or Y's Archie New-to-You Clothing Stores
